We’re pleased to announce that we’ve been asked to speak again at the WEVA Convention this year. WEVA is an annual convention for video production professionals. This is our 13th year of speaking at WEVA. Over the years we’ve lectured on such cutting edge topics as “Non-Linear Editing”, “DVD Authoring”, “Making The Transition From SD To HD Video”, “High Concept Lighting Techniques”, and this year “Prospering In The Corporate Market”. In addition to our featured presentation, we’re also involved in meeting with major camera manufacturers to discuss needed features and upcoming models in development.

We developed a new division to Insight Productions, called WebVideoXpress. While we’ve always created stunning web videos for our clients, we now have packages that are even more affordable than before. Web video is great way to add video to your website. Now that the search engines are rating sites with video higher than sites without, web video is almost a requirement… if you want your website to be seen. Were pleased to announce that we’ve added a new camera system, the Canon 5D MkII DSLR. This camera adds a new dimension to our productions. In addition to interchangeable lenses, it gives our clients the advantage of the short “depth of field” (DOF) look of traditional movie cameras. The full-size sensor is bigger than the traditional 35mm movie camera and gives absolutely stunning quality. Here’s a photo of the complete package.
